Este recorrido de cañonismo inicia en el poblado Lagunillas, muy cerca de Laguna de Sánchez en el municipio de Santiago, Nuevo León MEXICO. Su duración es de aproximadamente 12 horas. Caprichoso cañón de más de 16rappeles en cascadas con agua corriente. Termina en inicio de Matacanes y se puede hacer junto con este recorrido en 2 dias. Aventura muy extrema de cañonismo, para gente con experiencia en otros recorridos de montaña.

Season

Can be made all year, but have more visitor influence from February 1st to November 15th, highly recommendable on the months from September to November, having higher water level.

Difficulty

Advanced: this route requires experience in hiking and rappel, the route involves walking in paths, between stones and can have down-climbing. This cannot be your first excursion with Matacanes® we recommend a trip with a lower level of difficulty before you can make this one with us. EXCELLENT phisycal condition is required and no one with overweight is admitted.

Gear available

1. 4x4 transportation in a safari style truck, open air vehicle full of fun and joy since the begining.
2. Cabins and camping area at baseline, Changing rooms, bathrooms, electricity, water, fresh hot coffee, restaurant and shop.
3. Professional canyoning gear for each participant: Harness, helmet, PFD and wet-suit
  4. Professional ICAN certified guides with up top date courses of first aid and canyoning.
5. Pictures of the trip after fillin the poll. **if available
  6. Medical first aid kit for the trip in the mountain, recommended by the Mexican Red Cross.
 

Checklist

Just bring dry clothes for the end of the trip, chocolates like as MilkyWay or Snickers. The vests have pouches for bars

The best running tennis You have, never bring Converse style shoes

Do not bring water or chemical blockers that are not environmentally friendly, do not bring valuables that you may lose in the river
