Cañonismo es el deporte de viajar rio abajo en una barranca natural de la roca empleando diversas técnicas; rapeleando y saltando cascadas y acantilados, descendiendo cascadas y toboganes naturales, nadando a través de las piscinas claras y cristalinas con sistemas especiales de cuerda, tales como vuelos en tirolesas. Generalmente hay que hacer una caminata no muy larga requerida para tener acceso a la mayoría de los cañones, pero una vez en la barranca, la mayor parte del tiempo estaremos en el agua. En todos nuestros destinos contamos con chalecos de flotaciones especiales para cañonismo con alta flotabilidad. Destreza para nadar no es necesaria, pero debe poder saltar a las pilas de aguas desde una altura considerable.

Para asegurar tu lugar en un fin de semana especifico, lo mejor seria reservar y registrarse 2 semanas antes del evento en invierno y hasta 3 semanas en verano. Es posible tener lugares disponibles un dia antes del evento, pero no es comun.

Yes. We provide a pick up and drop off service to Monterrey International Airport or to the the local hotel. Please let us know when you make your reservation that you will be travelling by airplane, and we will make the necessary arrangements. You can also take an airport taxi to most of our destinations meeting point.

Depends. We can run tours in a certain amount or rain, but it is likely that we will cancel tours in the event of heavy rain. If this occurs, we can give you the option of changin to a dry canyon tour, which will run in any weather.

There is no real best season for canyoneering because we have a destination for any weather and any season. However, if you are after the most popular canyons April - mid September typically sees hotter and low risk for wet canyons. Canyoneering tours operate daily from late April until mid September.

You can make a preference on which course you would like to participate and we will make every effort to make that course available on the day. However, a different course may be chosen on the day due to weather conditions, safety regulations and the condition of your group.

We have 3 vehicles, but the most common is a modified 4X4 pickup truck, with seats on the back. We know is a VIP vehicle, but this is the most appropiate vehicle for the tipe of dirt road we´ll be in. We a Jeep and a Honda CRF as a support vehicles to give a better service.
