If you really are or want to be a real mountain enthusiast, you should not miss this challenge where you must put on test all your basic and advanced techniques to survive in mountain terrains. The view you´ll have in te summit is of 360° allowing you to observe more of 80% of the Cumbres de Monterrey National Park. Some of the site you can watch is Cerro de la Silla, La Calle, back of the “M”, La Huasteca park, the Scorpion, the Stairs canyon, San Judas canyon, Guitarritas - Huicholes. This terrain will ask for abilities of orientation, rock climbing, rappel, ascent and descent in loose ground with an inclinations angle of 55°. It is required mountaineering basic knowledge, rock climbing and rappel.

Meeting Point
 | The departure and return point is just a few meters passing the entrance of La Huasteca natural park, in Santa Catarina Nuevo Leon. To get to this point from down-town you'll take Morones Prieto avenue to the west; this avenue ends on the park entrance. From this point we'll move to a rural site, south the entrance. |
Difficulty
 | Advanced: this route requires experience in hiking and rappel, the route involves walking in paths, between stones and can have down-climbing. This cannot be your first excursion with Matacanes® we recommend a trip with a lower level of difficulty before you can make this one with us. EXCELLENT phisycal condition is required and no one with overweight is admitted. |

Each participant will be responsible of the gear provided, and will have to be carried in your own backpack when it is not in use. Lost gear should be payed as new. |

Maps
It is possible to obtain maps of the zone in any office of the INEGI. The type of map that is recommended to acquire is the Topographic Letter of the zone of GARZA GARCIA G14C25. |
Groups
 | Groups can be made of 5 people minimum. In case of not being able to form a group, you'll have to make reservations with a full payment of the tour and wait to be assigned to one of the groups formed by other people. If you can't be assigned, you'll be refunded. You may ask for VIP groups with no minimum persons and guides will be assigned exclusively for you including all meals, transportation from airport , cabins and hotel nights. |
Food / Meals
Breakfast and lunch snack is incluided and will be provided at the beginning of the excursion, in addition is recommended to take to extra food as energy bars (or chocolates). |
